One flat – countless possibilities: community and comfort

What comfortable living looks like in Standard One buildings: our new video about community, home and lifestyle

We’ve made a new video about life in our rental buildings. A Standard One home is a comfortable, fully finished flat with hotel-style service, and the residents form a community of people with shared interests.

The video shows what city life can look like for young people today, when a flat is more than a place to live – it is a space they can easily make their own. The same space looks different each time, thanks to the décor, lighting and interior details.

We shot it in a real flat at S1 VDNG. The team transformed the flat quite quickly, changing the mood and giving each scene a different feel.

It also highlighted another important feature of this kind of home: a flat with a basic finished fit-out can easily be adapted to different uses, lifestyles and residents’ tastes. New interiors are quite easy to create, from understated minimalism to a bright, personalised space.

The building’s residents bear out the idea of comfort shown in the video. One S1 VDNG resident says:

‘When we moved in, the flat was already fitted out, so we didn’t have to spend any time getting it ready. At first we rented a studio, then moved into a two-room flat, and now we live in a three-room flat in the same building. We wanted more space, but we hadn’t planned on moving to another building: we like the location, the neighbours, the atmosphere and the service.’

Above all, we wanted this video to show everyday life in our buildings: a sense of community, home comforts, a convenient location near the metro and a space everyone can truly make their own. Here it is easy to meet people, socialise and feel part of a lively urban community.
